Wok and sauteuse in carbon steel for frying large amounts vegetables. Diameter 32 cm, base 15 cm, height 9,7 cm, total length 58 cm.
Thickness 2 mm for optimal heat distribution. Handle of tempered strip steel with hight temperature resistance. Suitable for all stovetops, grill and oven.
The black colour of the surface is due to thermal treatment and a temporary protection against oxidation; the pan is not coated. Seasoning will give the pan natural non-stick properties.
De Buyer have produced carbon-steel pans in the same factory since 1830!
