Kay Bojesen medium monkey, 70th anniversary edition

Kay Bojesen's Monkey is a world-famous classic for children and adults alike. The pot-bellied monkey with the impish expression has been taking children's dreams to far-flung lands ever since 1951.

In 2021, the Wooden Monkey’s 70th birthday was marked with a special edition made of sustainable upcycled wood. The Anniversary Monkey is adorned with a one-of-a-kind mosaic pattern made up of different types of wood – each monkey’s colours vary according to the kind of leftover wood available at the time of manufacturing. The Anniversary Monkey features the words “70 år”, Danish for 70 years, on one of its feet and is only available in a limited edition.
